Right to Erasure
You may request deletion of all personal data we hold about you, subject to legal retention obligations.
Scope
This applies to your Hills Properties account and all data collected through our platform, including via Google or Facebook login.
Timeline
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days of identity verification.
No Discrimination
Exercising your data deletion rights will not affect any prior transactions or create any penalty.

What Is Deleted
The table below outlines what data is permanently deleted and what may be retained for legal or regulatory reasons. Items marked Deleted are removed from all our systems. Items marked Retained are kept only as long as legally required.
Profile & Identity
Your name, email address, profile photo, phone number, and account credentials.
Your Listings
All property listings you have submitted, including images, descriptions, and pricing history.
Messages & Enquiries
All direct messages and enquiries sent or received through the platform.
Saved & Favourites
Your saved searches, favourited listings, and browsing preferences.
Transaction Records
Records of completed transactions may be retained for up to 7 years as required by Rwandan tax and financial law.
Legal Obligations
Data required for dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or ongoing legal proceedings may be retained until resolution.
